We now have many options in achieving this goal. There are many Security Companies that can wire your house to alert you in a possible break-in. There are indoor and outdoor cameras.
I would like to talk about just one of many cameras on the market that I use and prefer. The Ring Doorbell and Ring Floodlight have been making it way to the market at a reasonable price. These cameras can be installed using wired or battery.
The cameras can be installed by the average person with little knowledge. The setup is quick and simple to connect to your mobile devices. The Ring offers a off site storage of your video for a low yearly price. The off-site storage helps in case something happens to your house and eliminates the possibility of an intruder stealing your DVR with all the footage. Your footage can always be available to view or shared with the Police.
The Ring offers a Neighbor portion of their app so you can share footage of suspicious activity happening in your Neighborhood. This helps your Neighborhood watch programs should you have one.
